About this course
A 3-month course, on campus or online, for the Deputy District Public Prosecutor (DDPP) recruitment test conducted by the Public Service Commission. It covers the MCQ screening test, the written papers on criminal law and prosecution, and the interview.
Classes use past papers, case studies and timed mock tests.

Requirements
LL.B and enrolment as an advocate with several years of practice, or service as an ADPP; an age limit applies. Requirements differ by province and recruiting body; always check the official advertisement.

Orientation and diagnostic test: the DDPP test pattern and a study plan

Pakistan Penal Code I: general explanations and exceptions, abetment and conspiracy
- Week3
Pakistan Penal Code II: offences against the human body, Qisas and Diyat, offences against property
- Week4
Code of Criminal Procedure I: FIR, investigation, arrest, remand and the police report (section 173)
- Week5
Code of Criminal Procedure II: bail, framing of charge, trial, judgment, appeals and revisions
- Week6
Qanun-e-Shahadat Order, 1984: relevancy, confessions, documentary evidence and examination of witnesses; mid-course mock test
- Week7
Special laws: Anti-Terrorism Act 1997, Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997 and arms laws
- Week8
Prosecution service: the provincial Criminal Prosecution Service Act. Supervising prosecution in a district: scrutiny of challans, guiding ADPPs, appeals and revisions in the sessions court

Constitution of Pakistan: fundamental rights, fair trial (Article 10-A) and High Court jurisdiction
- Week10
General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies and current affairs
- Week11
English: essay, précis, grammar and comprehension
- Week12
Final revision: guess papers, a full mock test and a mock interview
