About this course
A 3-month course, on campus or online, for the AD&SJ examination conducted by the High Courts for senior advocates. It covers the advanced civil, criminal and constitutional law tested in the written papers, judgment writing and the interview.
Classes use past papers, model answers and timed mock exams.

Requirements
LL.B and enrolment as an advocate with several years of practice (commonly around 10 years) within the age limit set by the High Court. Requirements differ by province and recruiting body; always check the official advertisement.

Orientation and diagnostic test: exam stages and a study plan
- Week2
Constitution I: fundamental rights and the jurisdiction of the superior courts (Articles 184(3), 185, 199)
- Week3
Constitution II: Federation and Provinces, the judiciary and leading constitutional judgments
- Week4
Code of Civil Procedure (advanced): suits, interim relief, appeals, revision and execution
- Week5
Contract Act, Specific Relief Act, Limitation Act and Land Revenue Act
- Week6
Family and personal laws: Family Courts Act, Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, Guardians and Wards Act, protection of women laws
- Week7
Pakistan Penal Code, including Qisas and Diyat; mid-course mock test
- Week8
Code of Criminal Procedure: sessions trials, bail jurisprudence, appeals and revisions
- Week9
Qanun-e-Shahadat and appreciation of evidence; basics of medical jurisprudence
- Week10
Special laws: Anti-Terrorism Act, Control of Narcotic Substances Act and provincial special laws
- Week11
Judgment writing (civil and criminal), English essay, Urdu précis and General Knowledge
- Week12
Final revision: guess papers, a full mock test, model-answer review and a mock interview
